Ben Kolpa
Ben Kolpa evaluates external investment managers and researches investment strategies for Vulcan Capital's investment portfolio. Prior to Vulcan, Mr. Kolpa worked at Tahoma Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund. Prior to Tahoma Capital, Mr. Kolpa was with the proprietary group at Seattle-Northwest Securities. Mr. Kolpa has additional experience as an associate director for Quellos Group within their fixed income division where he helped grow assets to $1B within three years. He joined Quellos after working as a quantitative developer for Merrill Lynch, Republic National Bank and Deutsche Bank in their derivatives trading businesses. Mr. Kolpa holds a BS in chemical engineering from Cornell University and a MS from the Stern School of Business at New York University. In addition, he is a current charter holder of the CFA designation.
