Geoff McKay
Geoff McKay is a managing director at Vulcan Capital and oversees a private equity portfolio focused on financial services, energy and natural resources, and infrastructure. He has more than 10 years of private equity experience in various industry sectors, including retail, business services, healthcare, media and telecommunications. Previously, Mr. McKay was a general partner at Forstmann Little & Co., a private equity firm that made over 30 acquisitions and significant equity investments, returning billions of dollars to its investors. During his tenure, he was involved with the acquisition and oversight and served on the board of directors of several Forstmann Little companies including IMG Worldwide, 24 Hour Fitness and ENK International. Previously, Mr. McKay worked in the mergers and acquisitions department of Goldman Sachs for three years.
Mr. McKay received his BA in economics from the University of Victoria and his MBA from The Wharton School.
