Stuart Nagae works on the Venture Capital team at Vulcan Capital. Stuart focuses on making investments in disruptive early stage technology companies and manages investments in a number of portfolio companies including CTRL-Labs, FutureFuel, Pixvana, Rec Room, Remitly, Sunbasket, Unearth and Wrench. During his tenure at Vulcan Capital he has worked with over 40 portfolio companies, including five that went public and ten companies that were successfully acquired.
Prior to Vulcan, Stuart worked in the technology investment banking group at JPMorgan H&Q, where he concentrated on the enterprise software sector.
Stuart received his BA in international relations from Stanford University. Outside of work, he is a board member of KEXP a Seattle-based listener-powered non-profit arts organization, a trustee of the Bertschi School and is an independent theatre producer.
